Women empowerment is our soul! With every empowered woman, a family is empowered, and so is the society.
Over the years, we have reached out to villages and helped the women upskill in varied ways. Free computer training, vocational training, English speaking classes are just a few of the offerings.
We, through our youth wing- ‘Uttarakhand Youth Club’, have reached more than a hundred villages in Uttarakhand with programs and initiatives to educate women compassionately. It is not easy to bring them out of their cocooned beliefs, but our young volunteers do not put down their capes. It is indeed fortunate to be able to mobilise youth towards a noble cause- a cause that is rooted in each human.
We work not only towards women empowerment but also household empowerment. India is an agrarian economy, and our farmers deserve the highest degree of respect. For them to earn what they deserve, it is imperative that our farmers grow along with us. Our country has technology trickled to every part of the nation, and our policy-makers and innovators have been able to develop farmer-friendly practices.
Our part is to help disseminate information and knowledge. We have held extensive training programmes for farmers about soil testing, organic farming and hybrid seeds, which will enable a better flow of knowledge and application. The training also emphasises the importance of goatery; chicken and dairy farming.
