We created the Uttarakhand Youth Club (UKYC) to mobilise people-friendly initiatives. Our aim was to channelise the energy of our abundant youth towards efforts that will help our country grow.
We, through UKYC, organise various programs and workshops to assist the youth employment, education and assist them in their overall development. With the strength of the club at around 20,000 members, it also provides special assistance to women.
A toy bank has also been started to help the downtrodden kids feel the joy of childhood.
The club conducts skill classes, distributes relevant material and works extensively towards employment generation.
