The Regional Seminar on Domestic Violence
“The Regional Seminar on Domestic Violence” was organized in 2013 at Bhimtal in Association with National Commission of Women. Representative of more then 10 states of India participated in the events in the house full gathering chief guest of the event was hon’ble governor of Uttarakhand Shri Aziz Qureshi & guest of honor were Ms. Shamina Safiq, Member National Commission of Women, Ms Sarita Arya, MLA Nainital, Mr. Mahindra Pal, Ex-Member of Parliament Nainital. Two live cases of domestic violence were addressed and resolved on the spot by Hon’ble governor.
